Loosely echoing the forms of antique church and farmhouse furniture, the Writers Desk of my b85 series began as a daydream: a contemplative corner, a window, distant hills softened by green. It was shaped from desire, from imagining what lies ahead. The desk yearns for use—for touch, for marks, for the quiet force of pens pressing thought into paper across its skin.
